LOS ANGELES, Calif. – Sophomore Anneke Moersdorf earned the top finish for the Oregon State track and field team at the Rafer Johnson and Jackie Joyner Invitational on Thursday and Friday.
Moersdorf was one of three OSU athletes competing in the event, accompanied by Maddie McHone and Claire Corbitt.
The three Beavers finished six (Moersdorf; 4696), seven (McHone; 4489), and eight (Corbitt; 4430) in the heptathlon.
Moersdorf earned a sixth-place finish in the high jump (1.62m), shot put (10.60m), javelin (30.83m), and 900m (2:29.80). She claimed fifth in the long jump with a distance of 5.34m. The sophomore clocked in at 15.32 in the 100m hurdles for 11th, while taking 12th in the 200m with a time of 26.82.
