The American Legion Auxiliary Unit 136 hosted its first “Pancakes with Santa” in December. We had a great turn-out, as 25 children attended, who had pancakes and their picture taken with Santa. They received goodie bags along with an ornament to color and take home. We gave away two 7-inch tablets to two children.
We would like to thank everyone that came and joined in the festivities. Thank you for your support during this difficult time we can’t wait to see you next year!

The American Legion Auxiliary Unit 136 with the help of the Legionnaire Sons of the Legion, and the American Legion Riders donated $1,600 so our chairman for Veterans Affairs and Rehabilitation, Kristen Petty, could buy hygiene supplies, kitchen supplies clothes for the homeless veterans in the community. This is why the American Legion Post is such a big family of 1,300 members, this what we do not only for our veterans but our homeless veterans. Thank you Kristan Petty and Susie Bailey for an outstanding job. They had 112 bags delivered to homeless veterans. We are so proud of our big family.
