UPDATE: Power and full operations have been restored at the Tri-City Water Resource Recovery Facility

Power and full operations have been restored at the Tri-City Water Resource Recovery Facility. Due to the large storm event and resulting power loss, the Tri-City Water Resource Recovery Facility in Oregon City is presently on standby generator power. With the prolonged power outage, The Tri-City facility is likely now discharging water that is out of compliance with the Clean Water Act. DEQ has been notified. Staff is working with Portland General Electric (PGE) to bring back power to the plants as quickly as possible to restore full operations. In the interim, staff is also working with PGE to get fuel delivered for the standby generators.
