A cathedral and a council-owned community centre have joined a football stadium among the possible locations for a mass Covid vaccine centre proposed to the government, an MP has confirmed.
At least three sites in Medway have now been proposed to the government and the NHS as calls grow for the Towns to have their own dedicated large vaccine hub.

Man pleads guilty to burglary after safe stolen from Gillingham Football Club s Priestfield stadium

A 37-year-old has pleaded guilty to burglary following a break-in at Priestfield stadium.
Samuel Turner, of Gordon Road, Gillingham, is alleged to have stolen a safe containing six leather-bound journals dating back to 1900 from the home of Gillingham Football Club.

The items were taken from an office at the club s stadium during the early hours of Thursday (January 7).
He was remanded in custody and appeared at Medway Magistrates Court today.
