The company will start to improve the facility’s production and storage capabilities this June, the company’s CEO, Scott Rebe, told the newspaper. Quality Roasting opened the facility in 2020, the Tribune said. The site has a current processing capacity of about 70,000 bu/day.

Pa State Police: Men impersonated troopers in Franklin County

Pennsylvania State Police in Franklin County said they are trying to identify two people who impersonated troopers.Investigators said the fake troopers went to a home on Anthony Highway in Guilford Township on Monday morning and falsely identified themselves as troopers to the resident. The men claimed there was a new law requiring people to notify police if they had any firearms.According to investigators, the fake police left when the resident asked for badge numbers.The fake troopers are described as white, non-Hispanic males who are about 30 years old. Both men were wearing gray suits and had short hair. They were driving a black Dodge Magnum with law enforcement-style wheels and tinted windows, state police said.Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call state police at 717-264-5161.

Man stabbed repeatedly in Franklin County home, suspect in custody

On April 3, state troopers responded to a 911 call from a woman who said a neighbor broke into their home on Turner Drive and stabbed her husband. The victim, a 46-year-old man, was stabbed repeatedly in his back and was located inside the home, bleeding on the living room couch. Troopers rendered aid on arrival. The defendant, identified as Storck, fled the residence to a neighbor s home, according to the woman on the 911 call. Responding troopers heard a vehicle s engine start and exited the residence, locating Storck inside the back of his father s Dodge Durango next door. He attempted to flee the scene in the vehicle, then on foot, but was subdued by troopers and his father.
