Consumers are willing to pay and spend more in return for highly personalised experiences, according to a survey. However, businesses are hard-pressed in providing it due to lack of initiatives within their stakeholders.
Communications service providers’ (CSPs) consumers are increasingly expecting highly personalised experience from using digital apps and services, such as online shopping, digital banks, payment apps, OTT platforms, according to a study conducted by Coleman Parkes commissioned by Amdocs.
Almost 60% of consumers would spend more to engage in such experiences, while 40% would likely switch providers for a customer experience that suits their changing needs, the study found. This translates into upselling opportunities for CSPs, as well as opportunities to attract millions of new consumer

The UK National Health Service (NHS) is to trial the blood test from Israel’s OncoHost (see here previously) that predicts how well cancer patients will respond to immunotherapy treatment. Trials will focus on patients with advanced melanoma or non-small cell lung cancer.
