Winter Storm Prompts Central Texas Closings
Icy conditions continued to make road travel dangerous over the weekend, prompting a number of delayed starts and closings at schools, daycares, and businesses across Central Texas.
If you absolutely must be out driving, please give yourself plenty of time to reach your destination, give other cars space on all sides, and move at a reasonable speed. This is not the time to put the pedal to the metal.
However, you should remain home if you do not need to go out. Also, make sure you ve taken indoor pets inside so they can shelter in the warmth with you, and take measures to protect your pipes from freezing and bursting.
