Keep Copperas Cove Beautiful is hosting a Composting Class from 9 to 11 a.m. Jan 23 at the Copperas Cove Public Library, 501 S. Main St. This free class is limited to 20 people and requires pre-registration by going to https://bit.ly/3o6ds4k.
Although Bell County’s second shipment of Pfizer’s COVID-19 vaccines was delayed on Tuesday, the Bell County Public Health District still inoculated 255 people that day.
Itâs the Bell County Public Health Districtâs mission to not waste a single dose of its COVID-19 vaccines.
So despite a few individuals missing their scheduled inoculation appointments, Bell County is continuing to surpass its daily goal of 560.
âWe had 893 vaccinations done across the two centers yesterday,â Bell County spokesman James Stafford said Friday. âWeâre going to surpass that goal as long as we have enough vaccines to do so. (The health districtâs) No. 1 goal is that theyâre not wasting any vaccine.â
Stafford said those additional doses are often administered to health care workers who have not received their immunizations yet.
