So….”As I was winding up A Good Enough Life’s “Readers Christmas Stories and Memories” series in 2013, my husband Hutch handed me a page of his boyhood Christmas memories in Ireland, his contribution. Hutch lived in England until he was around seven years old when his family moved to Ireland. Born English, raised Irish. Here is the piece of writing he presented to me. Keep in mind that in Ireland and England, gifts are often referred to as “pressies.”
