Andrew is an artist, sculptor and jewellery designer based in Berriew. He judged the competition based on two categories – business and residential/domestic properties. Drogheda is glowing with events during Christmas Festival 20

What wonderful changes we ve seen over the last week in Drogheda! The lifting of Level 5 restrictions and the commencement of the festive season have brought some much needed hustle and bustle to the streets of our town. Also brightening up the evenings have been some lovely new Christmas lights that have been installed along the banks of the River Boyne. Last Friday marked the opening of the Drogheda Christmas Online Festival with the release of two videos on The Drogheda Festival s Facebook page. Two videos will be released each day until Friday the 18th of December. Charity boosted by Montgomery youngster s card fundraiser

Jenny Bailey-Beech is giving some of her Okami Makes card making profits to charities and her most recent chosen charity was Water Aid. The nine year old has been able to donate £100 to the charity which works across the world to transform lives by improving access to clean water, toilets and hygiene. Jenny said: “I chose to support Water Aid because we twinned a tap in Montgomery Children’s Church to help people who live in poor countries and protect them from COVID-19. “I thought this was a really good practical thing to help, so I decided I’d like to raise more funds for them.”
