In his Twitter account, Senator Christopher ‘’Bong’’ Go said the postponement was due to the many COVID-19 cases among Duterte’s security personnel belonging to the Presidential Security Group (PSG).
Go, a long-time aide and former special assistant to Duterte before successfully running for the 24-member Senate in 2019, said even Defense Secretary Delfin Lorenzana was found positive for COVID-19 on Tuesday, April 6.
‘’However, there is nothing to worry about when it comes to PRRD’s (President Duterte) health,” he assured.
