Set for this coming week at Lake Michigan College is a presentation on pandemics throughout history. History instructors Christopher Paine, Tim Moore, and Kristen Robinson will each cover a different pandemic. Paine tells WSJM News given the events of the last year or so, the discussion ought to be interesting.
“We’re figuring that it’s a good way to get everybody maybe a little more interested in history, and as historians, we’re always looking for a way to get people to realize that the past is more relevant to the present than you might usually think,” Paine said.
