CORNWALL – Residents at St. Joseph’s Continuing Care Center will be able to cycle virtually in the future.
The Kinsmen Club of Cornwall has made a $12,000 donation to the York Street nursing home so it can buy a jDome BikeAround.
The “experience bike” developed in Sweden costs about $16,300 U.S., plus a monthly upgrade and maintenance fee of $200 U.S.
The recumbent stationary bike uses Google Street View to allow its riders to virtually visit place in the area – and around the world.
