“I just came for the summer,” said Sandra Campbell and Chris Woo, who work together in Jasper Settlement Services.
Campbell and Woo are among many of the newcomers who travelled to Jasper for the summer and decided it was too beautiful, so they chose to call Jasper their new home.

Sony Music Publishing UK has announced it has signed hit songwriter, producer, and multi-instrumentalist Ben Jackson-Cook to a worldwide deal.
Jackson-Cook is known for his close creative relationship with Rag’N’Bone Man, having co-written and co-produced his new album Life By Misadventure in its entirety.
In the latest midweeks, Rag N Bone Man s Life By Misadventure is in contention to become the biggest first-week seller of 2021. The LP has racked up 34,117 sales to date to close in on the 42,486 copies moved by Foo Fighters 10th studio album Medicine At Midnight in its first week of sale back in January.

Chris Woo with Owyhee Produce in Nyssa, OR, and Parma, ID, said on May 5 his company had recently finished out its 2020-21 shipping season from the Treasure Valley. “We just got done with shipping in Idaho/Oregon cold storage onion crop for the year and have moved our customer base to new crop from California,” he said. “Quality is good, and we’re shopping all colors through the month of May.” And in recognition of the day’s festive significance, he said, “After work I’m going to have a margarita and maybe attend a piñata party. Happy Cinco de Mayo.”

Need help with errands or shovelling snow? How about meeting someone for a chat or a walk around the neighborhood? The Community Ninja program helps with all of that and more.
It’s a newly-formed program through Community and Family Services (CFS), which replaces the Snow Angels program.
