This week’s guest host is Phelim Kine, who has been reporting on China for two decades as a journalist and human rights researcher for companies ranging from Dow Jones Newswires in Beijing to Human Rights Watch in Hong Kong. Kine is the senior director for Asia at the Washington environmental campaign organization Mighty Earth, where he tracks how commodity exports to China fuel deforestation in Southeast Asia and Latin America.
