Ann Wilson Releases Pre-Heart Era Recordings

The Daybreaks, recorded with her pre-Heart band of the same name. The previously unheard four-song collection is out now on streaming platforms with a 10” vinyl available for pre-order here. Ann Wilson and The Daybreaks were active in the late 1960s in the Seattle area before Ann founded Heart with her sister Nancy Wilson. The short-lived Daybreaks, however, did find time to make it into the studio where they “recorded a handful of songs and released a 7” single in 1969,” as per a press release. Advertisement Ann detailed The Daybreaks sessions in a message to fans posted on her website. Read her words below:
