Kate Pierson, 72, is a singer and founding member of The B-52s, who found fame in 1978 with the single Rock Lobster. They have sold more than 20 million albums, such as Cosmic Thing (1989), which included the million-selling hit Love Shack. Today she lives in Woodstock, New York, with her wife, Monica Coleman.
