Ferguslie Park Covid test blitz participants thanked after pilot

Hundreds of residents thanked for playing part in Covid testing blitz to drive down numbers HUNDREDS of residents who took part in a testing blitz were thanked for the good turnout .  A drop-in Covid testing centre was set up in St Ninian s Church Hall in Ferguslie Park for residents and people who work in the area who were not showing Covid symptoms.  The centre opened for a week starting on Wednesday, March 24 and tested 327 people - around eight per cent of the local population - using lateral flow tests.  Only two people tested positive for the virus but locals were thanked for taking part.
