Although floods are consistently ranked among the leading causes of natural disaster losses and fatalities, there has been a major gap in technology to help sense and anticipate flood risk on a global scale until now. Indonesia and ASEAN usher in a new era of disaster readiness, response, and risk reduction

Indonesia’s national government, the ASEAN Coordinating Centre for Humanitarian Assistance on disaster management (AHA Centre), and Pacific Disaster Center (PDC) recently celebrated the completion of two life-saving technology projects.
