Mike Minarsky, Lisa Legler and Jay Lorinski have combined their skills to create a philanthropic project called Christmas Wish. The venture reaches people in extraordinarily distressing circumstances throughout Jewett City and surrounding towns.
Engaging in Christmas Wish is an easy process. A person nominates a family or individual in a difficult situation to be the recipient of a gift. One had to mail a nomination and/or donation to Jewett City Station at 2 North Main St. in Jewett City by mid December for a request to be considered and donation used. Beneficiaries of Christmas Wish are notified between Dec. 18 and 21.
