THERE is heavy traffic approaching the Greyhound Retail Park, M53 and across North Wales with motorists being warned of long delays. Bank Holiday traffic is building on major routes into and out of North Wales and strong winds and rain is also causing issues. Traffic reports show that there are long delays and stop-start traffic on A55 North Wales Expressway Eastbound from J23A A548 Dundonald Avenue (Pensarn / Abergele) to J34 A494 Mold Road (Ewloe). Travel time is around 60 minutes but the bank holiday traffic is on the move. There is also queueing traffic on A5480 Deva Link both ways around the Greyhound Retail Park due to bank holiday shopping traffic and on the M53 Northbound sliproad at the Little Stanney junction.

Chester is now home to the latest Tesla service location, which is situated in the Greyhound Retail Park at the former Evans Halshaw Ford car dealership at the junction of Sealand Road and Stadium Way. Eight electric car charging points are also in place at the site – more than any other site in Chester. There are now 26 Tesla locations in the UK, including 19 service centres, 16 of which contain showrooms, and seven retail-only locations.
A KFC restaurant in Southend is in line for a refurbishment. Bosses at the fast-food chain have submitted two planning applications in the hope to give their site at the Greyhound Retail Park a fresh new look. The proposals include the installation of a delivery pod extension to the side of the restaurant, as well as a new front entrance. Dark timber cladding will be added to the external walls of the restaurant to give it a sleek new look. New KFC signs will also be installed under the plans, along with additional signage in the car park. The alterations are unlikely to create any additional seating or space for customers.
