Teachers from a city school were seen chasing after their pupils moments after a 15-year-old boy was stabbed in the street. The boy was knifed in the leg on a grass verge next to the busy Childwall Fiveways roundabout yesterday afternoon.
The attack happened at around 3.05pm, just as pupils from nearby Childwall Sports and Science Academy, on adjacent Queens Drive, were walking home.

A community hero was left shocked when a driver hurled racist abuse and threatened to stab him over a road rage incident.
Charity founder Saeed Atcha and his friend Adam Toorawa were driving on the M62 towards Liverpool when Mr Atcha flashed his headlights at a car in front so they could overtake it.
