SALISBURY, Md. – Last week, local man Craig Faunce celebrated 100 days of cleaning up the city.
He was joined by some other volunteers who wanted to make a difference, and then of course Craig got to work and started cleaning. Thank you Craig for all you do!

SALISBURY, Md.- Kind SBY and Acting Mayor Julia Glanz honored a man who has been picking up trash in the city since last year.
Craig Faunce has been trying to keep the city clean every day by going to different areas in the city and picking up trash for almost a 100 days now.
That’s why Kind SBY and leaders in the community wanted to surprise him for his efforts.
“I’m just very appreciative and you all surprised me,” Faunce said. “It was very nice, coming here you know really changed my life, meeting all the new people, I have so many friends back home but I’ve met so many people here.”

SALISBURY, Md. – One local fraternity is helping make the community a cleaner and better place.
The Alpha Alpha Delta chapter of Alpha Phi Omega on Salisbury University’s campus recently participated in the Clean Up Salisbury campaign. Members of the organization picked up litter along South Boulevard to clean up the streets and help make the community a better place. We’re told the citywide initiative is coordinated by community member Craig Faunce and the Faunce Foundation.

SALISBURY, Md. – 47 ABC first introduced you to Craig Faunce back in October of 2020, when the new Salisbury resident started posting daily pictures and videos of himself picking up trash all across the city, sparing no street or neighborhood.
“When you’re out and people stop and say thank you, and beep their horn, it just gives you a good feeling,” Craig said.
Since then, he hasn’t stopped.
“I usually meet people here at the Walgreens parking lot at 11:15 if someone is going to come out, it’s like 50/50, sometimes people do, sometimes they don’t,” Craig said.
