An Ozark County woman arrested on a drug charge, after law enforcement reported she walked into the sheriff’s office, crying and talking to herself, is headed to prison.
The Ozark County Times reports 34-year-old Amber Sue Davis of Theodosia appeared before Circuit Judge Craig Carter earlier this month for a probation violation hearing.
The appearance marked Davis’ sixth probation violation since pleading guilty to possession of a controlled substance in May 2018.
She admitted to violating her probation. Her probation was revoked, and she was sentenced to the Missouri Department of Corrections for three years.
The newest violation report was filed following a Nov. 29 incident when Davis reportedly entered the Ozark County Sheriff’s Department, crying and talking to herself. She was arrested on an active warrant that had been previously issued, and deputies reportedly found methamphetamine in her pocket, court documents say.

Thordon Bearings has added to the growing concern over proposed changes to Vessel Incidental Discharge National Standards of Performance (VIDA) requirements, citing far reaching environmental consequences if clauses in the existing document are removed.
In a statement submitted to the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) on November 20, 2020, the Canada-based bearings and seals pioneer “strongly questions the removal of some text” in the proposed amendments, stating that such omissions will mean existing zero pollution solutions will be overlooked.
