A South Huron resident is facing charges after police responded to a call about a person passed-out behind the wheel on the side of the road.
On May 6th Huron County OPP were called to the Usable Line and Crediton Road area after a concerned citizen stopped to check on the well being of the driver.
Officers discovered the vehicle on the shoulder and a woman in the drivers seat who was showing signs of impairment.
A 36 year old South Huron woman was taken to the detachment where a number of samples provided were found to be over the legal limit.

A THUG whipped his ex-partner with Playstation leads and punched her in the face with a fistful of keys. Quinty Sawela attacked the woman as she arrived back to her home on Canvey in the middle of the night, and then attacked her again after he forced his way into her home. The 25-year-old had previously been in a relationship with the woman and they have a child together, but it ended in March last year. Several months before this, in November 2019 at 11.30pm, he had gone to her home and charged at her holding leads from a Playstation console before carrying out his attack.
