(File photo) MANISTEE Manistee City Council held a special meeting at Manistee City Hall Thursday evening to interview three candidates for the city manager position. Wayne Maybaugh, Marc Miller and William Gambill were interviewed for the position. After interviewing five candidates in May and previously offering the position to one, Manistee City Council Gambill was previously interviewed by council on May 13. Council originally extended a conditional offer to Adrian city administrator Greg Elliott on May 13. However, council voted a month later against approving a contract with Elliott and thus decided to interview candidates once again.
