Stroud has held her council seat since 2010. She is the only incumbent councillor running for reelection so far and is running unopposed in her ward. “I’m committed to being a positive and influential councillor for our communities and to continue to raise concerns and achieve results that our residents of Ward 4 deserve,” said Stroud. “It’s been an honour serving since 2010 and I’m looking forward to another term.”

She has represented Ward 4, which covers Anzac, Conklin, Janvier, and Gregoire Lake Estates, since first getting elected back in 2010. Stroud tells Mix News she wants to return to see the completion of multiple projects for the four rural communities. “I want to see the rural, water, and sewer hooked up to all homes, the extension of walking paths in Conklin and Anzac, and progress on the egress roads for Janvier and Anzac.” She adds she also wants to see all roads be paved in Anzac and Conklin and increase access to high-speed internet.
