But the pothole-ridden New BEL Road is crying out for some TLC - Tar, Levelling and Concrete Residents and regular commuters of the New BEL Road would love for the Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) to shower some attention on this stretch. Instead, the 80 Ft road, that connects MS Ramaiah Hospital Junction and Ashwath Nagar Junction, is getting all the tender, loving care (TLC). The 80 Ft Road which leads to the Chief Minister BS Yediyurappa’s residence – Davalagiri in Dollar’s Colony, was asphalted last in 2019 and is now being concretised again. But commuters who use New BEL Road say the craters and potholes on this stretch have not been attended to and are a risk to regular users.
