GREENSBURG – The Decatur County Sheriff’s Office has released details regarding multiple arrests made in late April.
According to a news release received by the Daily News, at approximately 1 p.m. April 28 the Sheriff’s Department, with the assistance of the Greensburg Police Department and the Decatur County Probation Department, served two search warrants, simultaneously, leading to the arrest of multiple individuals.
The search warrant executed at an undisclosed address in Greensburg led to the arrest of Jeremy Collins, 33, on a preliminary charge of carrying a handgun without a license, a class A misdemeanor.
Kurtis Cupp, 24, was also arrested at this address on a preliminary charge of carrying a handgun without a license, a class A misdemeanor, and a subsequent charge of trafficking with an inmate, a level 5 felony.

GREENSBURG – Decatur County native Mike McNealy is the Greensburg Breakfast Optimist Club 2021 Law Enforcement Officer of the Year.
McNealy, the Greensburg Assistant Police Chief, was clearly pleased to have been recognized for his years of service to the community.

UPDATE: Collins has been found safe.
GREENSBURG, Ind. (WISH) – A Silver Alert has been canceled for a missing 40-year-old Greensburg woman, according to the Indiana State Police.
Georgette Collins has been missing since 1 a.m. Monday.
Collins is described as a white woman, who is 5-feet-7 and 112 pounds. She has blonde hair and blue eyes.
At the time of her disappearance, Collins was wearing a bright green Vegas T-shirt and jeans.
Police believe Collins is in extreme danger and possibly in need of medical attention.

GREENSBURG, Ind. Police have canceled the Silver Alert for Georgette Collins Tuesday evening after she was found well in Seymour.
A Statewide Silver Alert was issued for a Greensburg woman Tuesday morning.
Georgette Collins, 40, was last seen on May 3 at 1 a.m. She was described as being 5 feet 7 inches tall, 112 pounds, with blonde hair with blue eyes.
She was believed to be in extreme danger and may require medical assistance.
