We would love to show Greenville a fun concept that hasn t been seen yet, the owners said in a news release. Especially after all the work, we put into it during COVID and now finally open

Greenville County deputies on scene of shooting

Updated: 3:27 PM EST Feb 18, 2021 A man has died after being found with a gunshot wound in the front yard of a Greenville County home, according to the coroner s office. Lt. Ryan Flood, with the Greenville County Sheriff s Office, said the shooting happened at about 9:30 a.m. in the 400 block of Del Norte Lane. Flood said authorities received a 911 call about gunshots and found an adult man in the front yard of a house with at least one gunshot wound. The victim was taken to the hospital. The coroner has identified the victim as Thomas Wilkes Satterfield, 58, of Greenville.The coroner says he died during surgery at 10:53 a.m. He said the shooting stemmed from an altercation.An autopsy is scheduled for Friday, the coroner said.Flood said investigators think they know who the shooter is but no charges have been filed at this time. This was an isolated incident and investigators are not looking for any additional suspects at this time, Flood said.

Village of Greenville will hold special election March 2 to select president and four trustees Duke Behnke, Appleton Post-Crescent GREENVILLE - The newly created village will hold a special election March 2 so voters can choose a village president and four village trustees. The village president will be elected for a two-year term. The trustees will be elected at large, with the first- and second-place finishers earning two-year terms and the third- and fourth-place finishers earning one-year terms. Candidates have until 5 p.m. Feb. 8 to file nomination papers for the positions. The annual pay is $9,364 for the village president and $4,682 for a trustee, plus a $35 per diem for each meeting lasting at least 30 minutes.
