New rapid Coronavirus Test Site Opens In Warwick

(Jenna Fisher/Patch) WARWICK, RI Kent County residents have another option to get coronavirus tests quickly and easily. Starting Wednesday, a new rapid test site opened just down the road from the Rhode Island mall in Warwick. The test site is located in the Shops at Greenwood shopping center on Greenwich Avenue, near the Rhode Island Blood Center. Rapid, self-administered tests are used, with results available within 15 minutes. This new testing site will help get more Rhode Islanders tested, and hopefully get case numbers down across the state, Warwick Mayor Frank Picozzi said. It was made possible through a private partnership with the Rhode Island National Guard, the City of Warwick, and a private business.
