Brenda Perrea of Northfield dies in one-car crash in Greenfield

GREENFIELD A 59-year-old Northfield woman died Thursday afternoon in a single-vehicle crash on Bernardston Road, according to the Northwestern district attorney’s office.
DA spokeswoman Laurie Loisel said Brenda Louise Perrea was killed when she drove into a concrete abutment under the Interstate 91 overpass on Bernardston Road. Police were called to the scene by a 911 cal at 3:21 p.m.
Perrea was transported by ambulance to Baystate Franklin Medical Center, where she was pronounced dead.
Greenfield Police and Massachusetts State Police in cooperation with the Northwestern district attorney’s office are investigating the crash.

Police are investigating a shooting that happened shortly before 8 a.m. Saturday in Milwaukee's Harambee neighborhood. It happened near 5th and Meinecke.

ACCIDENTS
• Matthew M. Lynos, 27, of Carlinville was treated at Passavant Area Hospital after being injured in a traffic crash at 10:11 p.m. Wednesday on Loomis Lane in Franklin. Lynos was driving south on Outing Club Road when he lost control of his vehicle, hit an incline near a railroad crossing and struck a sign.
