ACCIDENTS
• Matthew M. Lynos, 27, of Carlinville was treated at Passavant Area Hospital after being injured in a traffic crash at 10:11 p.m. Wednesday on Loomis Lane in Franklin. Lynos was driving south on Outing Club Road when he lost control of his vehicle, hit an incline near a railroad crossing and struck a sign.

ARRESTS, CITATIONS
• A 17-year-old boy was arrested on a disorderly conduct charge at 6:57 p.m. Wednesday after being accused of brandishing a toy gun during an argument on Dunlap Court. He also was arrested on a charge of resisting or obstructing a peace officer after police said he ran from them before being caught in the 200 block of College Avenue. Two other juveniles involved in the altercation — a 16-year-old boy and a 17-year-old boy — were cited on city ordinance violations for fighting, police said. An adult, Tad M. Mitchell, 35, of Jacksonville, was cited on a city ordinance violation against fighting after police accused him of aiding and abetting the fight.
