Joey Smith Jr., 21, of Lynchburg, was arrested for theft.
Tanner Garen, 20, of New Vienna, was arrested for OVI, failure to reinstate and failure to yield to traffic control devices.
INCIDENT
At 10:22 p.m. a resident in the 200 block of Jefferson Street reported a theft. The incident resulted in an arrest.

6:45 a.m. A Federal Street caller states there is a fire in the upstairs bathroom. All parties are out of the house. Call transferred to Shelburne Control. Officer Cody Wells advised. Fire extinguished before officers’ arrival.
2:54 p.m. Postmaster at the Turners Falls Post Office on Avenue A advising someone found a “bag of powder” outside the Post Office, brought it in and left it on a counter. Chief Christopher Williams retrieved the item.
7:22 p.m. Trooper Michael Leslie requests an officer assist him with an aggressive dog at the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office Regional Dog Shelter on Sandy Lane. Officer Cody Wells advised.
