6:45 a.m. A Federal Street caller states there is a fire in the upstairs bathroom. All parties are out of the house. Call transferred to Shelburne Control. Officer Cody Wells advised. Fire extinguished before officers’ arrival.
2:54 p.m. Postmaster at the Turners Falls Post Office on Avenue A advising someone found a “bag of powder” outside the Post Office, brought it in and left it on a counter. Chief Christopher Williams retrieved the item.
7:22 p.m. Trooper Michael Leslie requests an officer assist him with an aggressive dog at the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office Regional Dog Shelter on Sandy Lane. Officer Cody Wells advised.

8:50 a.m. Officer Daniel Miner requests call be placed to DPW to advise the Strathmore door to the catwalk that crosses the canal is propped open with a rock. No people or motor vehicles on site. DPW advised.
12:38 p.m. Reporting party on Chestnut Hill Loop states that about 10 minutes ago her son was threatened by an unknown man outside their residence. Caller states the man threatened to kill her son and stated he knows who his family is. Officer Nathan Pervere advised. Unable to locate. Advised caller to call back if they see him again.
