PMC, contractor took away chairs from CVC; citizens stranded
In a clear case of mismanagement, several citizens visiting the Late Abhijit Patangrao Kadam Krida Sankul COVID Vaccination Centre (CVC) in Ambegaon were forced to stand for hours due to the non-availability of chairs.
Due to non-payment, the contractor who had supplied chairs and other facilities at the CVC took all the chairs from the
Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) run centre early in the morning before the immunisation process started. The contractor was hired to provide chairs, tables and computers, among other things, to the CVCs in the Dhankawadi ward office area.
