The Flight Attendant was the first major release for HBO Max when the streaming giant launched, and it was a massive success.
Thanks to star Kaley Cuoco (The Big Bang Theory), the show was one of the most-watched HBO series of 2020, and while the ratings’ numbers were not released, HBO considered it a big enough success to warrant a second season for the series.

Broadway Says Black Lives Matter

HBO Max has renewed
The Flight Attendant for a second season. Inspired by a novel of the same name, the series follows the story of flight attendant Cassie Bowden as she wakes up in a hotel room next to a dead man having no idea what happened.
“We are delighted that the show has resonated so strongly with audiences and critics,” HBO Max Chief Content Officer Casey Bloys said.
