Jahel Ashley, 31, pleaded not guilty at his arraignment last week in state Supreme Court, St. George.
Prosecutors allege Ashley gunned down Brooklyn resident Sean Dallas, 29, on Sept. 15 after the victim had picked up his two children.
Dallas then continued driving and got his kids.
Afterward, he drove about a half-block to the corner of Grandview Avenue and Arlington Place where he stepped out of his car and was shot, said the source.
