The Grande Prairie Salvation Army continues to advance towards its goal for the annual Christmas Kettle Campaign.
The local branch has, through to the generosity of residents and businesses in the area, raised $434,028.86 towards its half million dollar target with four days left.

Captain Peter Kim said that if it is too busy this week to give, they will still accept gifts between Christmas and the start of 2021.
“We welcome donation right up to the year and donations received before Dec. 31 will receive a tax receipt for 2020,” he added. “I want to personally thank all of those generous people of our community for supporting the work of The Salvation Army and the people we serve, especially this year during a pandemic when the need has grown.”
