Wild Turkey launches new global campaign in Australia first

Wild Turkey has launched a new global campaign ‘Trust Your Spirit’, featuring the brand’s creative director and spokesperson, actor Matthew McConaughey.
Australia will be the first country worldwide to see the new campaign. It also marks the first global communication since the previous ‘Real Bourbon, No Apologies’ platform.
The creative storyline across the films follows McConaughey’s journey of discovering the true meaning of “trusting one’s spirit” as he explores the grounds of the Wild Turkey rickhouse. The track “Black Moon Rising”, by Austin musicians Black Pumas, pays homage to the band’s home state and McConaughey’s modern cowboy persona in his home state, Texas.

The claim: Bear took two-hour trip on ski lift in Vail, Colo.
“This was on the news. A full-grown brown bear is safe after a nearly two-hour ride on a chair-lift at a ski resort near Vail, Colorado!
That s the beginning of a Facebook post that over 31,000 users have shared since it was posted on June 18, which captions a photo showing a faint silhouette of what appears to be a bear on a ski-lift.
The creator of the post, Mike Roman, claims the bear activated the ski-lift and boarded a chair on its own a remarkable feat for an animal without opposable thumbs. USA TODAY reached out to Roman for comment.
