Two women arrested and charged with murder after man dies in shooting
PRICHARD, Alabama (WALA) On December 31, 2020, police units responded to 1117 W. Main St in reference to a shooting call.
Upon arrival, officers found a black male subject lying on the ground suffering from a gunshot wound, and he was then transported to the hospital. The victim was identified as David Lamar Green.
According to Prichard Police Department, two black female subjects, Kiya Henderson and Jessica Monique Hall, were then taken in for questioning.
They were later arrested and charged with 1st degree assault.
The victim then died as a result of his injury.

Charges have been upgraded against two women accused in a New Year’s Eve shooting in Alabama.
Kiya Henderson and Jessica Monique Hall were taken in for questioning Dec. 31 after police responded to a shooting call around 11 p.m. and found David Lamar Green suffering from a gunshot injury, WKRG-TV reported.
The women were later arrested on a charge of first-degree assault. Green later died as a result of his injury, and the charges against the women have been upgraded to murder.
It was not immediately known if either of the women is represented by an attorney who could speak for them.
