(ABC 6 News) - Bars and restaurants reopened their doors to indoor dining Monday after being forced to do takeout and delivery for over a month.
Bars and restaurants were relieved to open to their loyal customers, and to be back in their routines. Although they are limited to 50 percent capacity, reopening means the return of something normal. It was nice. We had nine people right away at 6:30 come in and have their morning coffee and just sit around and talk. It was nice to see everyone, Uncle Mony s waitress and bartender Patty Blanchard said.
Uncle Mony s had people waiting in the parking lot before they opened Monday morning, excited to be back in their local restaurant. Customers have had to order takeout since late November, which just isn t the same.
