For her latest album Cerys Matthews selected 10 poets to record their work and composed background music to accompany it, alongside Joe Acheson of Hidden Orchestra. The result is a sound journey that orbits the theme of Genesis by way of present British heritage.

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) â Florida experienced a loss of 418,500 jobs between November 2019 and November 2020. The regional unemployment rate for Gadsden, Leon, and Wakulla counties was 5.6 percent for November 2020. Gadsden County had the highest rate at 7.5 percent.
To bring about some relief, Tallahassee Community College is rolling out new opportunities outside of the city. Theyâre continuing programs that could help you rebound into a new job this spring.

She did graduate work at Brown, and has taught theater in the US and Germany. She is currently the Louise Wolff Kahn 1931 Professor of Theatre and Africana Studies at Smith College, and the Artistic Director of Chrysalis Theatre.

DENTON â The Caroline County Commissioners recently announced Laura Patrick, R.N., has been appointed the countyâs new health officer. Patrick has been the deputy health officer and heading the departmentâs COVID-19 response.
âWe are very fortunate to have her on board,â said Commission President Larry Porter in a phone interview. âShe certainly has extensive experience in the health department. She has tremendous amount of experience and knowledge of all the programs and staff that are there.â
âI am really honored to be selected as health officer and am excited to do my best in moving the health department forward,â Patrick said.
