Drug dealer who kept selling heroin after customer’s OD death wasn’t punished too harshly with decades-long jail term: Pa court
Updated Apr 07, 2021;
A central Pennsylvania drug dealer who kept selling heroin out of his bedroom window after a customer died of an overdose didn’t receive a “manifestly excessive” punishment when he was sentenced to decades in prison, a state appeals court panel ruled Wednesday.
The Superior Court decision by Judge Victor P. Stabile states that Kim Burgess Jr. was under house arrest when he was selling drugs out the window of his Lancaster home.
Burgess, now 41, is serving a 23 ½- to 62-year prison term on his 2019 conviction by a Lancaster County jury on charges including drug delivery resulting in death.

But prior to the footage showing Adam and Lucasâ confrontation, Kim, upon arriving on scene, asks her ex, âWhat did you do?â Those words are why Adam closes his door in her face when he checks on her at the end of the episode.
