More fire crews join operation at site of Cork Port blaze

FIRE SERVICE CREWS are still active at the site of a fire that broke out at Cork Port yesterday morning, with two additional crews having joined the operation earlier today.
Crews from Crosshaven and Carrigaline were joined by crews from Midleton and Cobh Fire Station to manage the aftermath of the fire.
The crews have been “exposing, dampening and extinguishing any hot spots within the storage facility”, according to Cork County Council.
