Lane restrictions planned on I-83 bridge spanning Route 851

There are overnight lane restrictions planned for the Interstate 83 bridge spanning Route 851 in southern York County, Pennsylvania Department of Transportation said Friday.
The restrictions will be at the diverging diamond interchange project at Exit 4 in Shrewsbury Township, according to a news release.
Both north and south I-83 left lanes will be closed for two nights from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m. on Sunday and Tuesday April 27, weather permitting, so contractors can perform roadwork on the the bridge deck, PennDOT said. A traffic shift is also scheduled Tuesday night on Route 851 at the I-83 bridge.

The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today that a bridge rehabilitation and superstructure replacement project is set to begin April 12 on Route 441 (River Road) in Conoy Township, Lancaster County.
The bridge spans Conoy Creek between Stackstown Road (Route 4004) and S. 2nd Street, a press release said.
This project consists of replacing the existing superstructure using precast deck panels, repairs to the abutments and top portions of piers, installing expansion joints, latex modified deck overlay, new approach slabs, guiderail, minor drainage improvements, updates to signing and pavement markings, and other miscellaneous construction.
Work on a $1.8 million project to overhaul a Conoy Township bridge is set to begin on Monday, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation has announced.
Separate detours will be in place for trucks, cars, bikes and pedestrians for the bridge on River Road, or Route 441, that spans Conoy Creek between Stackstown Road and South 2nd Street, PennDOT said in a news release. Cars will use Beattys Toll Gate Road and Stackstown Road while bicycles and pedestrians will use South 2nd Street and Race Street. Trucks will use Routes 230 and 743
The project will consist of a series of improvements to the bridge including replacing the existing superstructure, repairs to abutments and piers, installing expansion joints, a latex-modified deck overlay and new approach slabs, guiderails and minor drainage improvements, PennDOT said. The project will also include updates to signing and pavement markings.
