A new beginning for the Kingsville Department with a new crest that was designed and developed by Fire & Rescue Personnel.
The department brought the idea of rebranding forward following a meeting where Kingsville Fire & Rescue Personnel expressed a desire to leave the past behind and feel proud to work for the department again.
“The identity of a Fire Service is shown by having their department crest displayed proudly on the shoulder of their uniform and the side of the apparatus they ride,” Fire Chief John Quennell wrote in his report.

A graphic artist assisted with the design, and all team members voted on the crest of their choice.

Leadership of the Kingsville Fire Department is headed for more change as the town announced Wednesday that Chuck Parsons is no longer the fire chief.
“The Town of Kingsville has decided to move in a different direction with its fire department leadership and as such Fire Chief Charles (Chuck) Parsons is no longer employed with the Town,” a statement posted to the town’s website said.
