An elderly couple who went missing for two days after failing to turn up to a medical appointment have been found.
Otto and Gerda, both 87, from Bentleigh in Melbourne s south-east were last seen leaving a car park on Kings Way about 6.30pm on Tuesday in their gold Lexus.
Victoria Police said the pair were spotted at least twice on Wednesday night but responding officers found no sign of them.
However police said in a statement on Thursday morning the couple were located safely in Woomelang - 380km from their home - and will be seen to by paramedics. It’s understood the couple, both 87-years-old, were located inside their vehicle by a member of the public in the township of Woomelang about 8am.
