Health board s statement is merely politics

I read the resolution carefully; it offers no evidence whatsoever in support of the assertion that the different health circumstances among various racial groups are due to racism. It is true that some minority groups are less healthy than whites, and I am all in favor of the Health District devoting extra attention and resources to help these populations become healthier. The Health District can do that without resorting to racism allegations, which are prevalent these days.
The bottom line is that the Health Board’s resolution is a political statement; it should be seen as such.
