Two men were hospitalized after shooting each other at a Port Orchard gas station on Wednesday after a planned robbery fell through, and one man was charged in the incident by Kitsap County prosecutors on Thursday.
Port Orchard police responded to a shooting at the Chevron gas station on Sidney Way at about 3:15 p.m. on Wednesday, where they found a man with a gunshot wound to his leg. The man was wearing a bulletproof vest, and when he was taken by medical crews to St. Joseph Medical Center in Tacoma for treatment, he was found to have a holster, expandable baton and multiple knives, according to court documents.
